Please be advised that Goods purchased online and shipped to you from outside your country of residence are subject to duties and taxes.
Please be aware that you are responsible for:
1) assuring the product can lawfully be imported to the destination and
2) any duties and taxes levied by the destination country.
Customs policies vary widely; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
Notes:
· Customs offices in some countries or regions require the importer of record to provide a particular form of identification before releasing a shipment. You may be required to provide an identification number such as a Unique Identification Number, CPF, or Tax ID.
· Countries / regions that require an identification number include: Brazil, Chile, China, Ecuador, India, Israel, Peru, Qatar, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, and Turkey.
· Customs officials assess duties and taxes based on information provided on the air waybill, the Commercial Invoice, and other relevant documents. In some countries, duties and taxes must be paid before the goods are released from customs. A shipment’s duty and tax amount is based on the following:
· Product value
· Trade agreements
· Country of manufacture
· Description and end use of the product
· Country-specific regulations
· The product’s Harmonized System (HS) code
